Born in the N.E., I studied at 4 universities, eventually becoming a college teacher of Psychology and Sociology, and currently live near York with my second wife, former TV singing star, Julie Rayne.
I mostly write short stories, across a range of genres, including satire, speculative fiction and spy stories. I do not have an agent nor do I submit much of my output but "Out-of-Steppe" was a Theatre for Mankind (2006) prize-winner.
My first book, "Through A Judas Window" (2010) was a mixed-genre collection linked by war or Cold War themes. A second, linked by disdain for religious beliefs, is completed and a third, linked by the appearances of political figures, should be completed by the end of the year.
