Stephanie Shields lives in the north of England. She writes fiction and farms. She breeds sheep in the Washburn Valley, North Yorkshire. She's followed a career in further education, and she has written poetry since childhood. Short stories have been a more recent passion, and 'Swan Landings' is her first short story collection.
