My new book, “Somewhere in Yorkshire”, published by Blossom Spring publishing. It’s a children’s fantasy novel and takes three cousins on holiday to a village called “Somewhere”. The children don’t realise it but they have gone back in time to the 1950’s and eventually they recognise that the main characters they meet are in fact their grandparents. There are some nice touches of social history from that period of time, but the overriding fun involves the hilarious adventures they get up to with parodies in which the locals keep racing gorillas rather than pigeons and roller skating elephants instead of greyhounds. It’s a great stand alone read for children or a read along with parents/grandparents. Everyone is sure to be entertained.
